I recently picked up the novel Dragon Precinct by Keith R.A. DeCandido. It’s a short read at only 257 pages, but boasts an excellently written story that sucks you in. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next - which is probably why I finished it so quickly. A unique combination of swords and sorcery and detective novel - it really caught me off guard, as I usually have little interest in detective tales. However, Keith made it work. Please note, this book is not for kids - it contains adult situations and strong language.

An excellent work, highly recommended.

Keith has also written a Warcraft novel, Cycle of Hatred. Being a huge fan of Warcraft novels, I will be picking this up as well.
